Cindy P. Canty is a professional photographer, graphic artist, and fine artist. She is also the principal photographic storyteller and owner of C.Canty Studios, a premier studio that features storytelling portraiture (www.ccantystudios.com). Cindy studied photography and fine art oil painting at Converse College in Spartanburg SC then shortly after graduating, enrolled at Greenville Technical College to study in their prestigious graphic design program.

 

Cindy's work has been showcased mainly in Charlotte, NC, most recently her Women on Fire: Storytelling Portraits of Victory, a touching exhibit that featured breast cancer survivors, was shown at Southend Dentistry on Charlotte's historic southend district. 

 

Cindy's photography and paintings have also been featured in local N.C. and S.C. publications such as Pride Magazine, Greater Charlotte Biz,

My Carolina Town-Fort Mill, and the Spartanburg Herald Journal.
